Delivery of ECO measures drop by 15% in June

June has not been a particularly good month for the deployment of energy efficiency measures under the ECO scheme, as the number of installs decreased by 15%, a news report has been able to suggest.

Fresh data from the BEIS points out that more than 33,600 energy efficiency measures under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), a 15% decrease compared to May.

The highest amount of ECO measures were installed in North West – 19% – while 12% were installed in Scotland and 5% in Wales.

The ECO programme combined with the Affordable Warmth and the Carbon Savings Community obligations have delivered around 1.1 million measures in 842,000 low income and vulnerable households, BEIS added.
