Temperature probes ensure your house becomes more energy efficient

Three members of the shadow cabinet wrote an open letter to Communities Secretary Eric Pickles about green building policy. Shadow Energy and Climate Change Secretary Caroline Flint, Shadow Housing Minister Jack Dromey and Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls called for clarification on when the policy details surrounding the zero carbon home target will be finalised. The letter concerns reforms to Part L of the building code, which would require new buildings to attain tougher energy efficiency standards from this year onwards.

The HeatingSave Building Energy Management System is an ideal way of ensuring your house becomes more energy efficient as it can save more than one-quarter off fuel bills. Temperature probes are one of our products and are used for measuring temperatures on the boiler flow and return pipes and the outside air temperature. They are an alternative to the room temperature sensor. Housed in a stainless steel probe, these sensors are ruggedised and can also be used to measure the hot water cylinder temperature.
