Businesses with high bills can take free energy savings survey

Firms have been fined a total of £99,000 for failing to report Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) data. The fines are for late submission of a carbon footprint report and an annual report needed by the regulation, which compels more than 2,000 businesses with energy bills totalling £500,000 a year to measure and pay for each tonne of carbon dioxide they emit. Among those penalised were international utility Saur’s UK arm (a sum of £41,000) and engineering company BI Group (£10,000).

Businesses with high energy bills and overheads can save money and reduce their carbon footprint by about 25% through the Heating Save Boiler & Central Heating Control System. The Enterprise version is ideal for a large network of multi-site businesses with multiple boilers and cooling systems and heating zones. Full building control includes lights and plant, and a fully installed system is available from £2 per day. Your firm can request our free-of-charge Energy Savings Survey with a HeatingSave Energy Consultant involving a non technical discussion.
