Microprocessor automatically compensates for unusually warm or cold days to save on fuel bills

The latest figures suggest 1.5 million people are in debt with energy bills in the UK. The statistics, collated from spring 2011, include 850,000 electricity and 700,000 gas customers. Bills are rising 18% this winter so there is a fear that more people would be pushed into debt. Energy Minister Charles Hendry said: “Recent energy price rises in combination with other rising costs mean that many household budgets are under huge pressure.” He advised consumers to know what help is available.

Consumers can benefit from HeatingSave’s money-saving microprocessor-powered heating and boiler control system. One of HeatingSave’s many features that cut fuel bills is Room Set Point Matching. Room temperature set points are matched by the ‘heat loss algorithm’ to automatically compensate for unusually warm or cold days in spring and autumn. HeatingSave automatically varies the zone set point to the outside temperature. The user can vary the rate at which this is applied to each heating zone so they can balance this effect.
